An airline passenger has criticized she deemed an 'absurd' situation:

An airline passenger has criticized an airline for what she deemed an 'absurd' situation in which she was relocated from her seat to make room for a dog.

The individual was traveling from San Diego to Denver on United Airlines and reported that she was displaced to accommodate 'an enormous service dog.'In a post on Reddit, the traveler stated that the service dog was 'too large to fit on the floor' and was therefore permitted to occupy her seat during the flight.

The passenger recounted: 'The dog was far too big to fit on the floor. 'The gate agents meticulously check the size of my carry-on, yet...
